Being the third son of a minister and schoolteacher, I was raised in a house of music and praise. Prior to my 1974 arrival into Tallahassee, I had already sung my first church solo at age five, received multiple years of formal classical piano training, and played multiple brass instruments in school bands. Succeeding years include stage performance as a keyboardist for variety bands and solo performers, successful engagement with national music competitions, developing the ability to play by ear, and establishing my music ministry. It is with an incredible smile that I find myself retired from the State of Florida, fully engaged with active living, and both my sons grown and productive. It is a true joy to now be a part of the music ministry of Salem Methodist Church.
