My name is Curtiss Cain and I am blessed to serve as the pastor here at the Salem Methodist Church of Havana, FL. I received my bachelor’s degree in Church Ministry with a minor in Education from Warner University, as well as a Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary. Over the last 20+ years God has used me to serve him and his people in a number of ways, including as a Director of Youth Ministries, a volunteer chaplain in Juvenile Corrections, multiple faith-based summer programs, a volunteer chaplain with the local sheriff’s department, a board member with multiple non-prophets and as a hospital chaplain. I have also been blessed to serve as pastor to several congregations, including this amazing one, where my family and I have been worshiping since 2016.
In the early years of my ministry, God used me to work closely with a lot of abused and abandoned people who needed to experience the love of God, before they were willing to accept it. In this more central time of my career, I am finding that God is using me to help people deepen their faith, grow as a disciple of Jesus and seek to explore ‘what’s next’ for each of us in our walk as Christ followers.
Please join us one Sunday, when you do, come introduce yourself to me. I’d love to connect with you and hear your story.
